Wi-Fi

Free, no sign-up, all three terminals.

Connect to FreeWiFi-NARITA. It runs 24 hours and covers every terminal as well as the buses between them. If your phone only sees FreeWiFi-NARITA(2.4G), use that one — same network, older band.

Cash

Seven Bank ATMs take foreign cards.

There are Seven Bank ATMs in Terminals 1, 2 and 3, with menus in several languages. Withdrawals are capped at ¥30,000 per transaction. Currency exchange machines are also available. Take cash before you go: small shops in Narita town — the old street by the temple especially — are not all card-friendly.

Your suitcase

Lockers and staffed counters, both.

Coin lockers are touch-panel and accept Suica. Staffed baggage-storage counters price by size (small / medium / large) and take bags too big for a locker. Hours differ by counter — many run roughly 6:30 to 22:30 — so check the closing time before you leave, not after.

A locker day ends at midnight, not 24 hours after you use it.

Getting out

Trains to Narita town leave from under the terminals.

Narita Airport Terminal 1 and Airport Terminal 2·3 stations sit below Terminals 1 and 2; Terminal 3 has no station of its own, so allow extra time to walk to Terminal 2. Trains run to Narita Station, which is where the temple, the old approach street and most of the food are. Several places near the airport also run their own free shuttle — check each one's page.

Praying, and eating around it

Prayer rooms in all three terminals, both sides of security.

Terminal 1 has one on 3F before security and one on 2F after; Terminal 2 has both on 1F; Terminal 3 has one on 2F before security and one on 3F after. They are quiet rooms open to anyone. For food, T's TANTAN on Terminal 2's 4F is fully vegan, and in town the Naritasan ramen street has a shop serving chicken broth made without pork or alcohol — pork-free, though not halal-certified.
